Teach Me How

I can’t read nor write

They look at me with pity

Like I’m born silly

You don’t know what it’s like.

Sometimes they get mad, alright

They said this should be easy

But reading frustrates me

Cause I can’t get b and d right.

Why wouldn’t they know

It’s tough for me too

Why couldn’t they show

How to get this through

Cause I do want to know

How to read like you do.
